This is us...

Thursday afternoon here and all my crazy launches are over! Thank goodness because I don't think my aching head could have handled one more side ponytail. I do have to say, I am gonna miss that glove...we still keep teaching the new stuff exclusively for two weeks, but no more costumes, give aways etc! (Congrats to my sister Amber by the way, who through no cheating on my part won the gift card to Tropical smoothie Cafe on Tuesday!)
Thought I would upload a cute picture from our day-to-day at the moment. Jaxon was sitting next to me at the computer, totally engrossed in drawing on his clipboard. Now that my parents are gone, our afternoons are getting more creative. My best memories from when I was a child was when my mom let me help her do whatever she was going. Mostly it was cooking, and she really let us be involved. It always made me feel so important and needed and grown-up, so that is what I am now trying to do with Jaxon. Yesterday he helped me make applesauce cookies to surprise Dave, and of all the things he helped me do, and asked me about, what is the one thing I told him that he is still repeating? "Mommy, those beaters gonna chop my fingers off if I put dem in the bowl?" Yes, thats right, thats what told him! He is very adventurous, so I really wanted to get my point across. Guess what? I think it worked! He also "helped" me sweep (not so helpful..) Vacuum-(FANTASTIC HELPER, and he loves it!) And mop with our new mopper-vac, which I am in love with! Today he "helped" me sort laundry and clean off bathroom counters! What a guy!

One last piece of cuteness, he is really offended my litter at the moment. Everytime he sees some he says, "Momma! Somebody littered! Now Heavenly Faddur gonna havva pick dat up. Dat's not very nice!"

Lookin' good, Ash!

I love that you're spending creative time with Jaxon and letting him help you in the kitchen, etc.
I attempt that sometimes... it's crazy/messy, but fun.

You know, tickets probably aren't that expensive. I found some for under $250 including tax from here to Orange County. Just so you know.
:)
And our door is always open.
Miss you.

Tell Jax, I get VERY offended by litter also. I am glad is learing to take care of our beautiful world at such a young age. He will have to do some backpacking with his Aunt Nena soon so he can learn "leave no trace".

I am going to miss the updates for the next couple of weeks!
