I actually did know that because my best friend growing up had one of those in her back yard and we used to eat them all the time. Of course, she told me they were called Pomadammits, but I can tell you something else about them that you may not known. They stain clothes and teeth and faces like nobody's business!! :)
That's so cool! I want to plant a pomegranate bush and an artichoke plant now, just because they will grow here. If you can't beat the heat, you might as well take advantage of the opportunity that it provides to grow strange produce.
